Hutt City Council – Lower Hutt

Project Overview: Hutt City Council engaged Horwath HTL to provide strategic advice, market analysis and financial projections in relation to both the development of a new events centre, the refurbishment of the city’s Town Hall and the development of a hotel.

Scope of Work: A new 4.5-star hotel complex housing 60 studio and one-bedroom apartments and the events centre are currently under development. The events complex includes a refurbished Town Hall, a modern, flexible space for community, conference, event and exhibition use.

Horwath HTL Solution: We advised Council in all aspects of the project, including sourcing a hotel developer investor and event centre leasee.

Project Status: The Lower Hutt Event Centre is open, and the hotel is under construction.
